About Us

We’re Julio and Colleen Estrada, and INÉSUEÑO is our dream brought to life in the Santa Ynez Valley. What began as a love for this land—its endless skies, rich soil, and Western soul—has grown into a shared passion for crafting wines that reflect its beauty. This is our story, from our first visit to the Valley to the bottles of Oso and Luna we’re excited to share.

Our Journey

In 2010, we visited the Santa Ynez Valley and felt an instant connection—a place where rolling hills, vibrant agriculture, and Western traditions like horses and open spaces spoke to us. It became our dream to call this Valley home. In 2014, that dream took shape when we found 3twos Ranch, a perfect piece of land with a one-acre south-facing slope ideal for a vineyard. By 2021, we planted our first vines—Bordeaux varietals we’d always loved, tended with care in the Valley’s rich terroir.

Our Dream Takes Root

INÉSUEÑO—named for ‘Inés’ of Santa Ynez and ‘Sueño,’ the Spanish word for dream—blossomed from that vision. In 2023, we celebrated our first harvest, yielding two Bordeaux blends: Oso, bold yet refined, and Luna, gracefully luminous. Named after our beloved dogs who roam 3twos Ranch, these wines capture the spirit of the Valley and the joy of bringing people together. Our small production—50 cases of Oso, 157 of Luna—reflects our commitment to quality over quantity, crafting wines meant for sharing.
